Blank Screen allows you to watch your favorite movie… for the first time!
Before you listen to this, you need to write the title of the movie you want to temporarily forget on a piece of paper, and once you listened, you won’t be able to remember the movie anymore. You can watch it free of any foreknowledge or spoilers, and you will only remember those once the end credits roll.

Is it normal to lost in thought/not recall listening to the file even though I did? Also while i dont remember the movie I can sort of recall seeing it and the actors involved. This is my first use of hypnosis if that means anything.

It’s not easy (for your subconscious) to trust someone that it’s okay to forget things. So i would say you’re on a good way. Keep going!
I’d absolutely love a video game version of this, being able to reexperience my favorite games for the first time would be amazing
